Quadro Frames Style P940 Custom Size - Anti-Glare PET Front Panel

Quadro Profile940 are classic gallery style thin molding picture frames. The clean, modern style works with virtually any image and decor.
Quadro P940 frames come in a variety of finishes, they assemble quickly and easily with no tools required.
An excellent choice for framing images inexpensively and with a professional look.

What's Included

The basic P940  kit includes components required to make a fully functional picture frame shell.

• Four (4) Moldings (color options vary by size).
• Four (4) Corner Clips for assembly and hanging.

 Choice of Backing Panel

The frame shells are compatible with virtually any 1/8" thick panel including cardboard, corrugated panels, foam core, chipboard, mat board etc...

• None-Customer-Supplied means NO FRONT Backing PANEL IS PROVIDED.
  >> For customers that prefer to use their own backing panel, for laminated media etc.
• A 2.5 mm. 0.10 inch thick MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) panel will be available for most sizes.

 Choice of Front Glazing Panel

• None-Customer-Supplied means NO FRONT GLAZING PANEL IS PROVIDED.
  Typically the customer will have a specialty panel they prefer to use (UV filtering etc.)
• An optically clear 1.0 mm. / 0.040 inch thick PET plastic panel.
  Note> These panels include a protective peel away film on both sides which must be removed prior to use.
• A clear 1.0 mm. / 0.040 inch thick Anti-Glare PET plastic panel.
  The Anti-Glare effect is produced by a slight texture on one face of the panel.
  This panel should be placed in direct contact with the image being framed or a slight but noticeable loss of clarity will occur.
  Note> These panels include a protective peel away film on the smooth side only - which must be removed prior to use.
• A 1.8mm. thick Float Glass Panel with Unfinished edges (some formats only - to be handle with care, edges are sharp!).

Frame Sizing

• Frames are true inch sizes (not metric approximations).
• Panels and frame interior size is nominal +1/8 /  -0 inches.
• Example for a 16x20 inch frame:
  • Moldings accommodate panels 16"x20" in size.
  • The P940 moldings overlap the front of the panels by 3/8 inch around the entire periphery of the frame.
    The visible size is therefore nominal size minus 3/4 inch due to molding overlap.
    In the case of the 16x20" frame it will have a visible opening of 15.25 x 19.25 inches.
  • Similar calculation applies for all P940 frame formats> visible opening will be nominal size minus 3/4 inch on both width and length

Wall Hanging

• No additional hanging hardware is provided or required.
• Quadro P940 frames are designed to hang directly from the concealed corner clips used to assemble the frames.
  This is a 2 point hanging method.  P940 frames  should NEVER hang from the middle of the top molding, which will bow.

 What's Not Included (Options)

• Mattes are not included but can be used with our P940 frames.
• Easel for table-top display, optional on sizes up to 9x12 inches

• Moldings are made of extruded ABS plastic with a foil finish.
• The total frameable thickness (backing + image + matte + glazing) is 1/4 inch.
• Easy to dis-assembly and re-assemble for image changeout.
• Due to shipping restrictions panels are not offered on some larger formats.
• Some large formats will trigger oversized shipping charges as specified in UPS/Fedex rate sheets.
